- Invoice details — name, email, service descriptions, and amounts you enter when generating invoices
Information collected automatically:
- Basic usage data — pages visited and features used (via Cloudflare analytics)
- Device type and browser — to improve mobile experience
What we do NOT collect:
- We do not collect or store your bank account details
- We do not collect your Payoneer, Wise, or PayPal credentials
- We do not collect your actual payment transactions
- We do not require account registration
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only to:
- Respond to your contact form messages
- Improve Settlo's features and user experience
- Fix bugs and technical issues
- Understand how freelancers use our tools
We never use your information for advertising, spam, or selling to third parties.
3. Invoice Data
When you use Settlo's Invoice Generator:
- Your invoice data is processed entirely in your browser
- We do not store your invoice details on our servers
- Shareable invoice links contain encrypted data in the URL itself — not on our servers
- Downloaded PDFs are generated locally on your device
This means your client information, service details, and payment amounts never touch our database.
4. Calculator Data
When you use the Payment Calculator:
- All calculations happen in your browser
- We do not store the amounts you enter
- Exchange rate data is fetched from a public API and not linked to your identity
5. Third Party Services
Settlo uses the following third party services:
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security. They may collect basic access logs.
- Web3Forms — contact form processing. Your contact form submissions pass through their service.
- Open Exchange Rates API — live PKR/USD exchange rate data. No personal data is sent.
6. Cookies
Settlo uses minimal cookies:
- Cloudflare may set security cookies to protect against attacks
- We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies
- We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel
7. Data Security
We take security seriously:
- Our website runs on HTTPS — all data in transit is encrypted
- We use Cloudflare's security infrastructure
- Since we store minimal data, there is minimal risk of data breach
